Tradition echoes throughout Pine Crest Cemetery’s emerald lawns and beautiful gardens. Founded in 1906, Pine Crest has grown, developed and expanded over the years. Today Pine Crest Funeral Home & Cemeteries offers many options including cremation, mausoleum entombment and traditional ground burial.

At Pine Crest, we believe that every life is unique, and every funeral should be too. We celebrate life. Pine Crest also offers The Simplicity Plan® prearrangement program, an easy way to handle an important family responsibility.

Community Involvement

At Pine Crest Funeral Home & Cemeteries, we take pride in being part of the community we serve. In addition to providing professional and caring funeral and cemetery services to Mobile families, we are proud to offer the use of our facilities to local organizations for meetings or get-togethers. We also provide memorial services and a Memorial Tree program to remember and honor loved ones during the holidays.

We invite you to learn more about us by visiting or calling any of our convenient locations.

Pine Crest Funeral Home

In 1994, Pine Crest Funeral Home opened on the grounds of Pine Crest Cemetery to provide families the convenience of “all services at one location.” Located at the corner of Dauphin Island Parkway and Military Road, Pine Crest Funeral Home features stately Southern columns and picturesque landscaping with lush foliage and flowers. A spacious chapel seats 170 guests. Several family visitation rooms and a large comfortable lounge provide comfort and privacy for those visiting the funeral home.

Pine Crest Cemetery

Since its beginning, the families of Mobile have embraced Pine Crest Cemetery as one of the area’s finest and most beautiful resting places. It was the first perpetual care cemetery developed in Mobile, with more than 14,000 families served since 1906. In 1988, a crematory was built on-site to accommodate those who prefer cremation. Pine Crest Cemetery offers more than 140 acres of wooded, scenic landscape to provide a peaceful setting for your family’s final resting place.

Pine Crest Cemetery West

To better serve the families of western Mobile, Pine Crest Cemetery West is located about 15 miles from the original historic Pine Crest Cemetery. Pine Crest Cemetery West is comprised of 97 acres of rolling knolls, pines, oaks, dogwoods and maples. The cemetery is centered atop a rising slope. Shrubs and trees in the open areas further complement the terrain, making Pine Crest Cemetery West one of the most beautiful perpetual care cemeteries in the entire Southeast.

Memories that live on forever…the Enduring Memories® Video Booth

Preserving our family legacy can be the most important thing we can do for our children, grandchildren, and future generations. Pine Crest Funeral Home is pleased to offer families the unique opportunity to share, record, and preserve their own special memories of their loved one through our exclusive multi-media tribute program. Pine Crest Funeral Home's new Enduring Memories® Video Booth allows family and friends the opportunity to record and preserve on video the special stories, memories and experiences that make up the story of a life well lived—all in the privacy of our Enduring Memories booth. Each and every tribute is beautifully captured and presented on DVD. This one-of-a-kind archive can also be valuable in helping families work through the complicated emotions that follow a loss.

Creating an Enduring Memories® video tribute is simple. When making funeral arrangements, our funeral director will ask you to bring with you pictures of your loved one. The photos are used to produce a beautiful picture tribute, which plays continuously throughout the gathering at the funeral home. During the gathering, family members and friends are invited to enter the Enduring Memories® video booth to record a personal message about their loved one or friend. These recorded messages are combined with photos and music to create a touching three to five minute video that can then be played during the funeral or memorial service. Pine Crest Funeral Home staff members are available throughout the gathering to direct guests to the booth and answer any questions they may have. Following the service, you will also receive a copy of all unedited messages left by family and friends.

Please contact us today for more information on this special keepsake item that will be treasured and cherished for generations to come.
